The instrumental noise-rock act from London – Three Trapped Tigers (TTT) rise up and announce their up-coming album “Silent Earthling”, first in 5 years, with an intense title track. And the tigers are as vibrant as ever! Album to be released on 1st of April, 2016 on Superball Music.

This 5 minute and 35 second long album-titled single is a vast space filled with tremendous soundscape, drops and complex drum/synthesizer rhythm combinations that will not let you sit in a calm position. The backbone of this track without doubt is the ground shaking drum work by no other than thee Adam Betts, who sets the characteristic of this journey. But by no means does it cast a shadow on the synthesizer work that creates that spacious feeling and flow of the track. Partnering up with the guitar, the three elements complete each other creating that fierce, noisy math-rock heaviness and accuracy, as well as the laid back, Lymbyc Systym-like ambiance. This is a joyride that will make you throw your hands in the rhythm of the drums and make your mind witness the happening of something grand.

Recording of the up-coming album is a DIY operation, as stated by band-member Matt Calvert. Despite the drums that had a few days of intense recording sessions in an actual studio, the rest of the album got recorded and mixed in the guitarist’s flat. As stated by Calvert, the album has tracks that are pretty aggressive, some that are poignant and some just dumb, rocking fun, which makes it just that more exciting and the feeling of April 1st being too far away. But until then, we can rock the hell out of the new single and revisit the TTT’s previous work.
